POWER


  • Aquakinetics™ energy converters (patent pending) are designed as prime drivers to capture the indigenous in-stream hydrokinetic energy in unutilized, naturally occurring, and man-made flowing water sources and convert it into shaft driven torque energy. 

  • Aerokinetics™ energy converters (patent pending) are designed to capture the energy in wind currents and convert it into shaft driven torque energy to drive various mechanical applications. 

  • Pairing of the two energy converters into one (duplexing) results in a higher, more economical capture of energy.

  • Aquakinetics™ and Aerokinetics™ energy converters can be sized from small portable units to large commercial/industrial units.


WATER 

Potable Water

  • Thirty-one countries face chronic fresh water shortages.  By the year 2025, forty-eight countries are expected to face shortages, affecting more than 2.8 billion people.

  • The ongoing operations costs of land-based desalination plants are huge.  Sixty to seventy percent of the total ongoing operating cost is the electrical power produced by polluting fossil fuel powered electric generating plants.

  • Marine Power and Water, Inc. has a solution – production of potable water by desalination utilizing our Aquakinetics™ and Aerokinetics™ energy converters and advanced systems of reverse/forward osmosis.

Farming/Ranching 

  • The Aquakinetics™ energy converter will create a paradigm shift in how farmers and ranchers view riparian rights and new modern water energy applications.

  • They will reap the benefits of self generation of the electrical energy needs for their vast water and irrigation conveyance systems as they exploit an existing energy source that is unutilized, pollution free, and renewable. 

Irrigation

  • Flood irrigation, a method commonly used, results in significant loss of water through evaporation and runoff, and depletion of soil nutrients.  The evaporation of flood irrigation water also adds significantly to the accumulation of salinity in the soil.

  • The Aquakinetics™ energy converters will not only give agricultural operations the option to considerably lower the cost of pumping ground water, but also the opportunity to economically change over to drip irrigation systems. 

  • Eighty percent of the water normally utilized in flood irrigation can be saved through the use of drip irrigation.  This innovative system will also facilitate farmers in converting from low value to high value crop production.


HYDROGEN/OXYGEN

  • Aquakinetics™ and Aerokinetics™ energy converters will electrolyze water to produce and store utility scale hydrogen and medical grade oxygen.

  • Development of this method of production has led to the creation of a new distribution method (patent pending) with the ability to store and distribute utility scale hydrogen and medical grade oxygen for retrieval on demand.

  • Most current commercial hydrogen is produced using a finite energy resource (natural gas) that is an increasingly expensive and greenhouse gas-generating process.  Our energy converters will produce and store hydrogen/oxygen utilizing renewable energy resources and employing a non-polluting, zero carbon-based process with known fixed costs.
